ABOUT THE PRODUCT

REEZOLDINI Odeon L4 3-way speakers are highly sensitive and produce high quality sound. Clear and transparent highs, perfect microdynamics, open mids, powerful bass.

DESIGN

The speakers are encased in a three-section cabinet, which consists of two bass units and one MF-HF unit. The sections make a single one-piece cabinet.

ABOUT THE SOUND

Exellent macro and microdynamics due to high sensitivity. Detail. Almost seamless linking of frequency spectra, which gives the feel of a studio monitor, rather than large floorstanding speakers. No horn-like sound. Authenticity and realism of musical instruments. Wide variety of genres.

DRIVERS

REEZOLDINI Odeon L4 is a 3-way speaker system. The speakers include three active REEZOLDINI drivers designed together with a known driver manufacturer. Two 15” bass drivers in the d’Appolito scheme deliver the lower register, one operates in the bass range, the other one in sub-bass. Such powering of the speakers provides solid linearity, gives excellent depth, attack, and articulation of bass.
MF and HF ranges are provided by a solid oak horn loaded compression coaxial REEZOLDINI driver.

BUFFERS AND FILTERS

REEZOLDINI Jericho M speakers utilize two “Julin Buffers” of the new L1.5 and L 2.5 generation. The buffers make the sound of Odeon L4 as realistic as possible and provide for catching the finest musical nuances. Filters with split frequencies of 600 and 6,000 Hz of the third order. Inductance coils are large with an air core. HF crossover boards are coated with the highest grade silver. Internal wiring is made with Reezoldini Jericho cables.

CABINET

The cabinet of Odeon L4 is complex, made of MDF. It is assembled in layers. In order to avoid the organ resonance effect, the internal volume of the cabinet is made in a complex form. Wall thickness in the thinnest point is 30 mm.

Bass units have four big ports of complex form pointing downward. Front panels are solid oak plates with a thickness of 20 mm. Front panels are attached to the cabinet through a soundproofing compound.The MF-HF unit is in addition encased in corkwood sheet.

SUPPORTS

The speaker cabinet is rigidly mounted on a massive 40 mm solid oak platform with Sound Care Super-Spike anti-resonance supports. Super-Spike supports do not damage the floor and give a good vibration isolation.

FINISHING

Finishing colour for the Standard option: matte black coating with solid oak panels. Custom enamel colour (1500 options) or cabinet veneer finishing (44 options) are available.

SUPERSPIKES SUPPORTS

LOAD DISTRIBUTION

REEZOLDINI speakers stands on three SuperSpike supports. Since the three supports are always coplanar, they evenly distribute the load among themselves with a lateral vector of 120 degrees. Such distribution favorably affects the sound, since equivalent vectors of 120 degrees are mutually cancelled out.

ISOLATION

SuperSpikes supports reduce the mechanical connection of speakers to the floor surface. Reducing the distribution of parasitic vibrations reduces the effect of these vibrations on the sound reproduction process. Concentration of speaker weight on small surfaces leads to high pressure at the point of support. Such concentration provides effective suppression of own internal resonances, gives a high bass response, and has a beneficial effect on the sound stage.

SCRATCH-FREE

SuperSpike solves the known problem of scratches, which often occurs when using ordinary spikes. The SuperSpike undismountable design is with the a specially shaped spike and a special base plate, which are combined in a plastic casing allowing the user to move equipment without scratching the floor.

REEZOLDINI Jericho reference loudspeaker cables are used inside the speaker systems. Cables are made using a unique REZOLDINI technology. Within the Jericho series, cables for wiring inside speakers, interconnect cables, speaker cables, and network cables are designed. The use of all the above cables in a sound setup gives the maximum result in sound quality.
